Terms of Service

The use of this service is at your own risk. As a courtesy, Codeflex provides a backup service which will create a backup of your website data, emails and databases. This service is set to run daily and the backups are stored at a remote location for 1 month. We recommend all hosting clients make a backup of their own data on a regular basis through the functionality provided within their cPanel. Codeflex is not responsible for files residing in your account - you agree to take responsibility for maintaining a backup of your website.

Although we will endeavour to avoid downtime, there is no guarantee of 100% service. We will notify you in the event of planned maintenance or repair, but unforeseen circumstances may result in service outage. Updates can be found on our Facebook page.

You agree not to store any files of an illegal nature in your account. Examples of content that may cause a breach are as follows:
  • Phishing websites
  • Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers
  • Pirated Software/Warez
  • Bruteforce Programs/Scripts/Applications
  • Mail Bombers/Spam Scripts
  • Sale of any controlled substance without prior proof of appropriate permit(s)
  • Pornography
  • Lottery/Gambling Sites
  • Hacker focused sites/archives/programs
  • Sites promoting illegal activities
  • Forums and/or websites that distribute or link to warez/pirated/illegal content
  • Fraudulent Sites
  • IRC Scripts/Bots
Codeflex reserves the right to cancel an account at any time if it feels that the account is in breach of service.

Credit card storage

Codeflex servers are non-PCI compliant. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you do not store credit card information within your account. We recommend third-party payment gateways such as one provided by your merchant bank, eWay or Paypal.

Codeflex shall not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. Codeflex makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. Codeflex disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, no deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by Codeflex.

Delivery of Goods

After ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation from Codeflex containing your account information and invoice for payment. Your account will be activated once this invoice is paid. If payment is made online through Paypal or eWay, activation is usually within 5 minutes. Payments made by cheque or bank deposit may result in several days delay in activating your account. If your account is not activated within expected timeframes, please contact us.

Release of information

Codeflex may disclose any account information to law enforcement agencies without further consent or notification to the account holder upon a lawful request from law agencies.

Refunds and Returns

If for any reason you are not happy with the service provided you can request a refund within 30 days of activation. Refunds will be made via the same method used for payment; i.e. if you made payment via Paypal, the funds will be returned to your Paypal account.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made through the cancellation functionality within your account. This helps to ensure that any cancellation requests come from an authorised account holder. Once we receive your cancellation request, it may take several days to finalise the cancellation. Accounts cancelled within 30 days of being created will have any monies refunded.
